I am a London-based private teacher of Russian and English.

I teach individual students and groups; I teach in person and online via Skype, Zoom and Teams

I studied Russian and English Philology at Kazan University (Russia) and obtained my doctoral degree in Russian Linguistics in 2000.

I also have an MSc in Cognitive Neuroscience from the University College London.

After graduating I started working as a lecturer at Kazan university teaching at the Department of the Romance and Germanic Languages.

I have been working as a private Russian tutor for 14 years. I have been a language teacher for 25 years.

I teach Russian

to adults of all levels from complete beginners to advanced learners (levels A1 to C2)
to bilingual children whose parents want them to learn to read and write in Russian
to native English children not speaking Russian at all
to teenagers preparing for their Russian GCSE exams
to those advanced learners who wish to take their TRKI exams
to actors interested in the Russian accent and/or Russian phonetics

I teach English

to those wishing to take their CPE exam or those wishing to do the course at C2 Level (Cambridge English)
to those wishing to improve their pronunciation (I specialise in Phonetics!)
